Below is some information that will enable you to get the most out of playing at the club whether you are a member or non-member.
There are details about how to book a court, 3 weekly members’ club sessions, tennis coaching, our Club Policies, the Jackpot 100 Club and a list of Committee Members.
We run social events throughout the year – both fun tennis tournaments and other events – and members will be notified of these when they are planned.
Online Court Booking System
Club Members and the general public are welcome to play outside of club sessions 7 days a week BUT you MUST book via our online booking system. The courts get very busy and the only way to guarantee you will be able to use a court is by making an online booking.
COST: FREE for club members and £8.00 per hour per court for non-members.
Please use our online booking system to check availability, make a booking and payment if required.
Upon booking you will receive an email confirmation which will include a code to the combination gate locks for access to the courts.

Club Sessions
We run three Club Sessions per week for members to enjoy doubles matches with a range of players. These sessions run all year round and arefun sociable sessions for players of all abilities.
Sundays: 9.00-13.00
Wednesdays: 18.00-21.00
Thursdays: 14.30-17.00
Members Playing with Non-Members
If you are planning to play with a non-member there is a discounted fee payable of £4.00 per hour (full public hourly booking rate is £8.00 per court per hour). This payment and booking can be done through the booking system. Please see the information below.
During the booking process you must now ‘Add Participant’ and select whether they are a ‘Member’ or ‘Guest’; if ‘Guest’ the £4 per hour fee is automatically triggered.
Club Policies
At Totnes Tennis Club we have a number of rules and policies we adhere to. Find out more by viewing the individual polices.
It is a requirement that we actively engage you with key policies and practice that ensure safe, secure, accessible and welcoming environment for all. It is also a requirement of our membership that you comply with our member’s code of conduct and have an understanding of the actions required should a member fail to comply with the TTC Code of Conduct. Please take time to re-familiarise yourself with the “Code of Conduct” section of the Safeguarding Policy as well as other key features of the policy document.

Tennis Coaching
We have a long-standing coaching programme run by LTA level 4 registered coach Tonia Gooderham. There is a full programme all year round for juniors and adults and more information can be found via the links below.

Floodlights
Floodlights are available on all courts to be used outside of Club Sessions at an additional cost of £1 per half hour. Access is via the floodlights room behind the maintenance shed and via a combination code lock on the entrance door. The combination code is supplied in the confirmation email when you book a court via the online booking system ClubSpark.
Clubhouse Key
A clubhouse key can be obtained for members for a £10 deposit. Please contact Geoff Powell our Membership Secretary: membership@totnestennis.co.uk

Jackpot 100 Club
The 100 Club is a major source of fundraising. For £1 a week members have the chance to win over £1000 in cash prizes throughout the year, including £500 at Xmas! Your support is greatly appreciated.
